Partnering with insurance companies can be complicated, and there is no guarantee that your insurance will pay for your treatment. Self-pay comes with a lot of benefits: insurance will not have access to your session notes, you have more freedom when it comes to session frequency, and our price per session is lower. In addition, you don’t have to worry about whether or not we will take your insurance!
In addition, as LPC-ITs, and in order to comply with ethical considerations, Beacon Counseling has elected not to pursue insurance paneling at this time.

Together, we can try!
There are benefits and risks associated with therapeutic services. While collaborative and frequent check-ins are exercised in order to maintain your treatment goals, no results can be guaranteed or assured.
It depends on the treatment plan we create together. Treatment can be variable and range from multiple times per week to around once per month. Treatment duration depends on your individual needs.

Group therapy can be as effective as individual therapy (as reflected in professional literature) so it comes down to what makes you more comfortable. We will work together collaboratively to identify what meets your needs and what you are most comfortable with. You may also choose to be part of group therapy and individual therapy.
